Our 4000 purpose-built street sweeper is in a class of its own, whether standard or CNG or electric hybrid, is designed to take on the worst of the worst sweeping conditions such as construction site clean up, state highway sweeping, and road resurfacing including millings, heavy sand and chip seal.

The Allianz 4000 Electric Hybrid is fitted with a 120-kilowatt permanent magnet generator, 160-kilowatt induction drive motor, and 60-kilowatt electro-hydraulic drive unit for the brooms, with digital controls, and lithium-ion batteries, all integrated by Allianz. It is the most sophisticated hybrid drive available, and has the most potential for fuel savings.

From the modern, comfortable and well appointed operator's cab, to the toughest and most rugged mechanical sweeping system ever built, the 4000 is designed to take on the worst of the worst sweeping conditions such as construction site clean up, state highway sweeping, and road resurfacing including millings, heavy sand and chip seal.

The Allianz 4000 series sweeper is one of the only that has ever passed the formidable California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) sweeper acceptance test where it was required to sweep up heavy sand at the rate of 3 tons per minute! That's one ton of sand every twenty seconds! That's a lot of sand. That's why Caltrans now owns a fleet of more than 150 Allianz 4000 sweepers.
